Pensbestendig vet is op dit moment onder melkveehouders een veel besproken onderwerp.
\nMaar waarom eigenlijk? Hiervoor zijn meerdere redenen:<\/p>\n

Maar welk vetproduct moet u als melkveehouder nu voeren? Het verzadigde vetzuur C16:0 is het meest voorkomende vetzuur in melkvet. En juist dit vetzuur zit in een veel hogere concentratie in BergaFat F100 t.o.v. de meeste andere producten in de markt. Het is wetenschappelijk aangetoond dat C16:0 vetzuren beter werken op het verhogen van het melkvetpercentage. Daarnaast zal een klein gedeelte aan C18:1 zorgen voor een betere algehele vetvertering.<\/p>\n
Ook uit het onderzoek van Rico et. Al. uit 2014, gepubliceerd in het Journal of Dairy Sciences, blijkt dat er significant verschil in melkvetgehalte (%) evenals de totale melkvetproductie (kg\/dag) te zien is tussen C16:0 en C18:0 vetzuren. Onderstaand de resultaten.<\/p>\n
